He is survived by: his wife Kathi Smith; his children, Dustin Daugherty (Michelle) of Mobile, AL and Emily Daugherty of Duluth; his siblings, David Daugherty (Gayle) of Tucson, AZ and Debra Brizee (Mike) of Grand Junction, CO; and his parents-in-law, Vivian Chase of Virginia, Marjorie Nelson (John) of Hoyt Lakes, Diane Gordon (Mike) of Grand Rapids, Laura Montgomery of Virginia and Martin Smith of Buhl. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
