It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Gersch of Avon, Minnesota, born in Madelia, Minnesota, who passed away on September 19, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Gersch and Alwine Gersch (Wolle); his parents-in-law, Paul and Mildred Froslan; his siblings, Eugene Gersch and Audrey; his brother-in-law Myron Kassen; his sister Edith Gersch; and his brother-in-law Delphin Boeck.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Gersch; his sons, Daron Gersch (Patti) of Avon, Daryl Gersch (Kim Bryan) of Shakopee and David Gersch (Rebecca) of St. James; his grandchildren, Nicholas Gerway (Annie) of Minneapolis, Molly Kollodge (Mitchell) of Sauk Rapids and Anthony Gersch of Avon; his pets, Rocky Gersch, Shiloh, Joplin, Gettysburg Gersch, Pepper Gerway and Kuzco Kollodge; his siblings, Arline Boeck of Winnebago and Dale; his sister-in-law RaeDell Gersch of Cambria; his brother Loren Gersch of Mankato; and his siblings-in-law, Lowell and Diane Froslan of Deephaven. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
