He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldred Himsl and Rose Himsl (Knoblach); and his son Jesse. He is survived by: his child-in-law Bekenson; his daughters, Nova and Callie Pierre (Bekenson); his granddaughter Nova; and his siblings, John (Judy), Karen Hirdler (Dick) and Roseanne Johnson (Larry). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
