With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mike Sauerer of Avon, Minnesota, born in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, who passed away on November 4, 2020 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Sauerer and Frances Sauerer (Gasperlin); and his brother Thomas Sauerer. He is survived by: his former wife Patricia Seitz; his wife Patricia "Pat" Sauerer of Avon; his daughters, Kim McLellan (Jake) of Richmond, Katie Dirkes (Scott) of Avon and Krista Sauerer of Minneapolis; his grandchildren, Ayla, Eli McLellan, Emmett and Evelyn Dirkes; his siblings, Tim Sauerer (Mary) of Albany, Mark Sauerer (Kathi) of Sartell and Lori Krebs (Tom) of Melrose; and his uncles, Curly Gasperlin and Larry Gasperlin of Alexandria.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
