He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Pilarski and Anastasia Pilarski (Kollodge); his son Glen Pilarkski; and his siblings, John Pilarski, Emily Edge, Lawrence Pilarski, Raymond, Edward Pilarski, Rosebele Sandoval, Eleanor Umerski, Francis Pilarski, Leonard Pilarski, Lorraine Feia and Marcella Johnson.

He is survived by: his wife Delores Johannes; his children, Brenda Utsch (Ron), Sharon Menth, Avon, Brian Pilarski (Jean), Doris Freeman (Patrick) and Jan Lynch (Todd); and his sisters, Mary Ann Melcher, Bernadine Seitz and Evelyn Mrosola (David). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
