He was predeceased by: his parents, Romaine Hoffarth and Christine Hoffarth (Jochum); and his father-in-law Victor Schmitz. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Dan (Vanessa) of Albany, Janel Goebel (Aaron) of Melrose and Chad of Avon; his siblings, Marvin (Sue), Charlene Birr (Allen), Frank (Betty), Allen (Mary), Dean (Leah), Debbie Baggenstoss (Craig) and Gerard; his mother-in-law Delores Schmitz; and his grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, Kyrstin Hoffarth, Emily and Evan Goebel.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Benedicts Catholic Church (212 1st St SW, Avon, MN 56310). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
