He was predeceased by: his wife Marianne Sauer of Timothy's Catholic Church; his granddaughter Jacqueline; his parents, John and Helen; and his siblings, Clara, Joe, George, Stan, Mary, Rose, Ann, Frank, Aloise, Henry and Bernice.
He is survived by: his children, Roseanne Zabloski (Dave) of Foley, MN, Helen Culbreath (John) of Clarksville, TN, John Holewa (Peggy) of Hillman, MN, Jane Gorecki (Tom) of Foley, MN, Sally Holewa (Curt Kantor) of Bismark, ND, Catherine Polejewski (John) of Avon, MN, Rena Holewa Hales of Elk River, MN, Randa Paschke (Jerry) of Medford, MN, Mary Bobst (Andy) of Butte, MT and Michelle Holewa. He is also survived by 41 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
