It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Blommel of Avon, Minnesota, born in Melrose, Minnesota, who passed away on June 6, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloys Blommel and Helen Blommel (Dickhaus); his parents-in-law, Alcuin and Viola Lahr; his brothers, Gerald Blommel, David Blommel and Patrick Blommel; and his nieces, Paige Luethmers and Heidi Deters.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Blommel of Avon; his daughter Stacy Konsor (Jed) of Holdingford; his grandchildren, Kylee, Brenna, Kinley, Cora and Ashly Headley (Ryan) of Maple Grove; his great grandchildren, Logan, Piper, Colton and Maeve; and his siblings, Arnold "Arnie" Blommel (Mary Jane), Leroy Blommel (Marilynn), Herb Blommel (Cindy), Mary Kuznia (Gordy), Ann Heidgerken (Bud), Joan Ellering (Mike), Jim Blommel (Denise), Bill Blommel (Yvonne), Ken Blommel (Val) and Lisa Austing (Dale).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
