She was predeceased by: her parents, John Blonigen and Christina Blonigen (Arceneau); her husband Ted Maleska; her daughter Sandy Salzer; her grandson Tyler Burton; and her siblings, Rosa Schefers, Veronica Schlangen, Clara Minnerath, Louise Linz, Paul, Daniel, Clement and Frank Blonigen.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Maleska (Michael Ruprecht) of Rice, Joanne Stoermann (Kevin) of St. Cloud, Alice Nevins (Doug) of Avon, Brenda Zierden (Ron) of Avon, Jeanne Pilarski (Brian) of Avon, Nancy Maleska of Chaska, Debbie Babcock (Dan) of Maple Grove, Susan Burton (Russell) of Savage, Bob Maleska (Jen Ryan) of Avon and Michael Maleska of Denver; her son-in-law Tom Salzer (Debbie Timperley-Byrne) of Sauk Rapids; her brother-in-law Al Maleska (Marlene) of St. Joseph; and her daughters, Mercy and Christine. She is also survived by 40 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. A Mass was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
Memorials preferred to Coborn Cancer Center.
