He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Young and Linea Young (Lindgren); and his wife Lois Young. He is survived by: his children, Travis Young of Austin, Boyd Young (Michelle) of Columbia Heights, Angelique Howell (Dan) of Ames and Brittany Alexander of Austin, Minnesota; his close friend Joanne Benson of Austin, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Cole Young, Curtis Howell and Desirae Alexander; and his brother Roger Young (Kate) of Fort Collins, Colorado..
