It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Gordon Barnett of Austin, Minnesota, who passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Barnett and Florence Holmquist; his stepfather Carl Holmquist; his son Bradley Barnett; his grandson Jason Austin; and his brothers, George and Clarence Barnett.

He is survived by: his wife Lauretta Barnett; his children, Gina Barnett and Terry Barnett (Elizabeth); his daughter-in-law Lynn Barnett; his grandchildren, Nikki Austin, Ashley Meade (Matt), Tyler Barnett, Aiden Barnett and Ainslee Barnett; his nephews, Brian and Jay Barnett; his siblings-in-law, Dwight Karsjens (Delores), Delbert Karsjens (Judy) and Eva Karsjens; and also Nancy Thatcher.
