He was predeceased by: his parents, Caleb Waltz and Della Waltz; his wife Jean Waltz; his son Mark Waltz; and his brother Dean Waltz.
He is survived by: his children, James Waltz (Brenda) of Hines, MN, Phillip Waltz (Kristy) of Velva, ND, Daniel Waltz (Melissa) of Farmington, MN and Carol Schlichter of Austin, MN; and his grandchildren, Jamie, Joel, Holly, Jim, Nick, Joe, Caity, Luke, Katrina and Tommy. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
