It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgil Anthony Lieske of Austin, Minnesota, who passed away on October 8, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Lieske and Annette Lieske (Morissette); his wives, Gerry and Janet; and his brothers, Russell, Howard and Robert Lieske.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Lieske, Richard Lieske (Cathy), Joel "Tony" Lieske, Jeannine Hagedon (James), Peter Lieske (Jen) and Raphel Lieske (Michelle); his grandchildren, Cory Lieske, Cari Cejka (Bryce), Allison Lieske, Morgan Lieske, Brandy Hagedon, Samantha Bashford (Eren), Nicholas Hagedon, Jacob Lieske, Nathen Lieske, Mallorie Lieske, Makayla Lieske and Mia Lieske; his great grandchildren, Carson Ceika, Chloe Ceika, Caelyn Ceika and Roland Lieske; and his sister Sister Annette Lieske.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Carmelite Monastery – 8251 Mt. Carmel Road, Lake Elmo, MN 55042.
