He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelbert Barry and Mae Barry; his wife Mary Ellen; and his siblings, Adelbert Jr. "Bud", Lowell "Lewie", Bernadine, Loraine and Bonita "Bonnie".
He is survived by: his children, Therese "Tess" Koster (Fort) of Blooming Prairie, James Barry of Vergas, Minnesota, Mark Barry of Faribault, Minnesota and Michael Barry (Marilyn Anderson) of Waterville. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
