It is with great sadness that we announce the death of VaLois Darlene Thoen of Austin, Minnesota, born in Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on May 22, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman Thoen and Evelyn Thoen; her brothers, Robert (Elaine Thoen) and Darrell Thoen; and her brother-in-law LaVerne Kehret.
She is survived by: her sister Virginia Kehret; and her sister-in-law Charlotte Cobeen. She is also survived by five nephews and their spouses; many great nieces and nephews.
