He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Schabacker and Marcella Schabacker (Sprague); his siblings, Marvin Schabacker, James Schabacker, Sharon Schabacker and Wilma Peterson; and his brother-in-law Dennis Peterson.
He is survived by: his sisters, Scheral Lau of Albert Lea, Alberta Grunklee (Orvin) of Owatonna, Joyce Vesely of La Crosse and Bernadine Haydon (Kenneth) of Arkansas; his sister-in-law Debbie Schabacker of Virginia; and his close friend Faye Houghton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (1600 W Oakland Ave, Austin, MN 55912). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
