She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard VandeGrift and Dolly VandeGrift (Thompson); her husband Paul Pickett (Joe); and her siblings-in-law, Robert Bicking, Denny Benton, Bob Schatz, David Pickett, Avis Humphres and Louise Pickett.
She is survived by: her daughter Laura Pickett of Austin; and her sisters, Elaine Bicking of Freeport, Diane Kissner (Ken) of Sherburn and Linda Benton of Mesa, Arizona. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
