It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Ann Ruzek of Austin, Minnesota, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on December 24, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russel Helleckson and Mary Ann Helleckson. She is survived by: her friends, Bridge and Southgate; her husband David; her children, Kirsten Hayford (Mark), Jon Ruzek (Marie) and Tim Ruzek (Heather); her grandchildren, Matthew, Karin Hayford, Walker, Harrison Ruzek, Aubrey and Estelle Ruzek; and her sisters, Nancy Glenn (David) and Janet Helleckson (Robert Offringa). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Austin Public Education Foundation, Austin ArtWorks Center or the donor's choice.
