He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Wiegers and Della Wiegers (Marquardt); and his brothers-in-law, Gene Cafourek and Tootie Loose. He is survived by: his wife Lois "Loey"; his sisters, Bev Loose, Donna Olson (Denny) and Betty Westre (Chris); his nieces and nephews, Carla, Elaine, James (Tammy), Amy (Jim), Kim and Ryan; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Berry and Sherry Lunt (Allan). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
