It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Lou Stephan of Austin, Minnesota, born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on January 18, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Boldt and Grace Boldt (Lockhart); and her husband Kenneth Stephan. She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Brekke (Richard) of Rochester, MN, Janice Rowe (Orvin) of Albert Lea, MN and Linda Stephan of Austin, MN; and her grandchildren, Matthew Brekke (Bridget), Amanda Rowe, Katie Brekke, Lindsey Chapek, April Rowe and Andrew Chapek (Mariah). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred to the Hormel Institute for cancer research.
