He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Helmbrecht and Phyllis Helmbrecht (Wyttenbach); and his grandsons, Gabriel and Oliver Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Karen Helmbrecht of Austin, MN; and his daughters, Bonnie Daugherty (John) of The Colony, TX, Patricia Meyer (Aron) of Oceanside, CA, Angela Stone (Erik) of Blaine, MN, Kari Thomas (James) of Corvallis, OR, Katie Wiertzema (Timothy) of Hastings, MN and Jena Klouse (Randy) of Austin, MN. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; two sisters; and one brother.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Gideons International or Youth for Christ.
