Michael Schumer wrote a sympathy message

“I can't imagine what you are going through. I hope to never experience losing a father, son, brother or a friend so suddenly. I only knew him for a year at work but two things stuff out to me about him: how much passion he had and how much he loved his daughter. Everyone who knew him realized he was a person who cared. He cared about his work cared about his daughter. He was so proud taking about her college plans. I'm so sorry”
