He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Guy Voigt; and his father-in-law Gayle J. Bergstrom. He is survived by: his mother Evelyn Bly Voigt; his wife Sherrie; his daughters, Shauna Wood (Zach), Grace of Cottage Grove, MN and Amy Mandler (Jake) of Adams, MN; his grandchildren, Coltin, Wesley, Kyleigh, RaeLynne and Addylin; his son Brady Voigt (Nick Strenke) of Taopi, MN; his mother-in-law Lavonne Bergstrom; and his siblings, Norm Voigt (Beth), Larry Voigt (Dianna), Cindy Landherr (Chuck), Randy Voigt (Roeann) and Char Osmundson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
