He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Hammermeister and Arlene Hammermeister (Schwartz); and his siblings, Lois Kuntz and David Hammermeister. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Hammermeister of Austin, MN; his children, Philip Hammermeister (Jana) of Ramsey, MN, Heidi Wald (Kevin) of Rochester, MN and Travis Hammermeister (Courtney Schams) of Austin, MN; and his grandchildren, Molly, Maxtyn Hammermeister and Thorin Wald.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Mower County Fair.
