He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Berg and Alma Berg (Skaarn); his siblings, Leander, Earl, Alta, Opal, Marlene and Beverly; his son Craig Berg; and his granddaughter Karissa Berg.
He is survived by: his former wife Sharon Lau; his wife Punk Berg of Austin, MN; his children, Jeff Berg of Austin, MN, Gary Berg (Dawn) of Owatonna, MN, Paula Ulrich (Craig) of Aurora, SD and Mandi Norregaard-Penrod of Austin, MN; his grandchildren, Nicole Braithwait (Tim) of Spearfish, SD, Samantha Ahrens (Travis) of Owatonna, MN and Derrick Berg of Owatonna, MN; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Canon, Colton, Avery, Teagun and Addison; and his recliner buddies, Chopper and Kida. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
