He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Auer and Albina J. Auer; his wife Thelma Auer; and his sister Barbara Coggins. He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Gray (Joe), Michael Auer (Kelly) and Rita Groomes (Bryan); his brothers, Mike Auer (Jean) and Richard Auer (Cathy); and his grandchildren, Matthew Grobe (Molly), Jeremiah Gray (Johnny), Nicholas Gray (Julia), April Hensel (Ryan), Jordan Hall (Gabrielle), Laura Auer and Rachel Zulkosky (Connor). He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
