He was predeceased by: his parents, James List and Anne List (Hokanson); his wife Joan Marie Hatfield; his brother James List; his son-in-law Mark Crumb; and his grandson Tony Crumb.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Schroeder (Randy), Elizabeth Crumb, Lori Nelson (James), David List (Janie), Richard List (Amy) and Kerri Klaehn (Kyle). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
