Richard Gunderson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Gunderson of Austin, Minnesota, who passed away on March 23, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gunderson and Adeline Gunderson (Papousek); his brother Dan Gunderson; and his parents-in-law, George and Charlotte Schwartz.

He is survived by: his wife Darlene Gunderson of Austin, Minnesota; his sons, Nathan Gunderson (Marisa) of Coon Rapids and Josh Gunderson (Kathleen) of Duluth, Minnesota; his granddaughter Emily Gunderson of Coon Rapids, Minnesota; his sisters, Peggy Levan (Steve) of Elgin and Kathy Bliss (Steve) of Austin, Minnesota; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Gunderson of Austin, Carol Freed (Mark) of Faribault and Anita Rugg (Chris) of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
