He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald McAlister and Delores McAlister (Klingfus); his former wife Kim Kominek; his stepson Brian Clark; his sisters, Wanda, Linda and Patty; and his brother-in-law John Wood.
He is survived by: his former spouse Shelly Clark; his sons, William McAlister of Rochester and Michael McAlister of Rochester, Minnesota; the mother of his children Shelly Clark; and his sisters, Kathy Hancock (Simon "Pete") of Mapleview, Julie Wood of Mapleview and Rhonda Eckert (Marvin "Marv") of Austin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
