He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Egtvet and Lena Egtvet (Johnson); his siblings, Lloyd, Alvera and Evna; his brother-in-law Orville Baldus (Bud); and his son-in-law Art.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel Helleck; his children, Ann Ayers (late Arthur), Philip, Karen (Duane Coleman), Julie Guggemos (Chip) and Paul (Heather); his grandchildren, AJ, Alan, Ashley, Alixandra Ayers, Lena Behning (Jesse), Claire, Ellie, Charlie, Annie Guggemos and Bjorn Egtvedt; his great grandchildren, Emma, Remington, Phoenix, Evelyn and Josephine; and his niece Nancy Hagen (Wayne). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
