He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Dayer and Philomeno "Mary" Dayer (Dayer); and his wife Rosemary Dayer. He is survived by: his son Mark Dayer (Dori Cain) of Lyle, Minnesota; his stepchildren, Kathleen Quandt (Michael), Robert McPartlin, Kevin McPartlin, Sean McPartlin and Hugh "Bud" McPartlin (Kathleen); and his brothers, George Dayer, John Dayer and Adolf Dayer.
