He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen "Pete" Kuhlmann and Jean Kuhlmann (Holst); his brother Buck Kuhlmann; and his father-in-law Bill Rabine. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Kuhlmann of Austin, MN; his children, Joshua "Josh" Kuhlmann of Rochester, MN and Jodell "Jodi" Nelsen (Pat) of Rose Creek, MN; his grandchildren, Allie Holdgrafer and Kynize Kuhlmann; and his mother-in-law Betty Rabine of Austin, MN..
