She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Hassinger and Patricia Hassinger (Yost); her daughter Nicole; and her pet KeLee. She is survived by: her son Brandon; her husband Douglas Hillemeier of St; her daughter Natasha Hillemeier (Ryan LaMont) of Austin, MN; her granddaughter Harper Tracy of Austin, MN; and her siblings, Linda Hoegger (Bruce), Marty Hassinger (Ronda), Trudy Hassinger (Keith Lueck) and Perry Hassinger.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society/Lung Cancer Research.
