He was predeceased by: his parents, Orpheus Belden and Elizabeth Belden (Rowe); his parents-in-law, Reinald and Francis Augustin; his grandchildren, Sarah Barnes, Camryn Barnes and Daxtyn Barnes; his siblings, Ivy, Harriet, Eva, Elizabeth, Maude, Marion, Dorothy, Donald, Chester, Milton, William, Otis and Harold; and his brother-in-law Arthur Augustin.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Belden of Austin, Minnesota; his children, Cathy Minor (Michael) of Austin, Minnesota and David Belden (Sherry) of Austin, Minnesota; his grandsons, Ryan Barnes of Austin, Minnesota, Jayden Minor of Austin, Minnesota, Daniel Minor of Austin, Minnesota and Sean Minor of Austin, Minnesota; his great grandchild Emara Barnes of Austin, Minnesota; and his siblings-in-law, Janette Belden of Austin, Louise Lingbeck of Austin, Minnesota, Fred Augustin (Deloris) of San Marcos and Paul Augustin (Mary) of Charles City, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral home is limited to 57 people for the service.
