He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Bell and Mary Bell (Cowan); and his brother-in-law Jim Arvanitis. He is survived by: his former wife Ruth Jacobsen; his children, Scott Bell (Kelley) of Virginia, Ryan Bell (Leni) of Austin, Minnesota and Katie Willemsen; his grandchildren, Lauryn and Kennedy; his close friend Mary Johnsen; and his sister Cheryl Arvanitis.
