He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Flanders of Austin, MN; his sons, Dan Flanders of Austin, MN, Mike Flanders (Amy) of Austin, MN and Al Flanders (Rachel) of Rosemount, MN; his grandchildren, Hannah, Holly, Heidi, Bryar, Ryan, Kaitlyn, Kyler, Keagan and Avery; his brother Alvin Flanders (Janet) of Fridley, MN; and his sister-in-law Pat Flanders of Austin, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
