With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn Dorothy Brehmer of Austin, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Evans and Eunice Evans (Jacobson); her parents-in-law, Margaret Brehmer (Kienholz) and Eugene Brehmer; her husband William "Bill" Brehmer; her daughter Susan Jacobsen; her grandson Jason Becker; her brother-in-law Richard Romsdahl; and her nephew Joe Romsdahl.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Lynn Brehmer (Douglas Raiche) of Rochester, MN, Barbara Korte of St. James, MN and Steven Brehmer (Debbie) of Austin, MN; her grandchildren, Derrick Ostberg of Minneapolis, MN, Melissa Kono (Evan) of San Francisco, CA, Rick Esser of Mankato, MN, Macie Korte of Mankato, MN, Tanner Korte of Evansdale, IA, Brandon Korte (Teaira) of Titonka, IA, Logan Korte (Megan) of Kodiak, AK, Brandy Becker (Jason Schaefer) of Rochester, MN, Shain Becker (Stacie Major Becker) of Parker, SD, Krystle Foley (Mitch Turnbull) of Lake Mills, IA, Chance Foley (Trina Serna) of Minnesota Lake, MN and Misty Brehmer of Minneapolis, MN; her sons, Aim'ee Walsh (Darren) of Castle Rock, CO, Lindsay Brehmer of Castle Rock, CO, William Brehmer, Jr. (Sabrina) of Castle Rock, CO, Drake Brehmer (Kourtnee) of Austin, MN and Stephany Brehmer (Jordan Hackensmith) of Austin, MN; her sisters, Jane Romsdahl of Littleton, CO and Nancy Olson (David) of Minneapolis, MN; and her son-in-law Dennis Jacobsen. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (706 3rd Ave S, St James, MN 56081).
