He was predeceased by: his parents, May Sorg (Cunningham) and Fred Sorg; his wife Shirley Sorg (Hertle); and his siblings, Marion Sorg, Margaret Albin, June Plath and Jean Alne.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Sorg (Diane) of Rose Creek, Minnesota and Rhonda Sorg (Mike Bartosh) of Prescott, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Krystal Pedersen (Jeremy) and Mike Sorg (Brittany) of Mantorville, Minnesota; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Jaxon Pedersen and Braden Sorg; and his sister Retha Farrell of Brownsdale.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
