He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Schewe and Stella Schewe (Nelson); his siblings, Keith Schewe and Charlotte Lukes; and his brother-in-law Curtis Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Schewe of Austin, MN; his siblings, Dennis Schewe (Geralyn) of Austin, MN, Rick Schewe (Cheryl) of Austin, MN, LaVonne Johnson Coeur and Marlene Johnson of Austin, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Dean Lukes of Austin, MN and Deanna Schewe of Blooming Prairie, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Youth for Christ or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
