He is survived by: his sons, Sam, Ed and Israel; his grandson Sam; his sons, Samuel Paul Amdahl (Cecilia Huang) of Prospect Hts and Edward Phillip Amdahl (Claire) of Okinawa, Japan; his grandchildren, Reagan, Madison, Stella Maris and Leif Amdahl; his siblings, Gilbert, Willis and Donna Hoffmeyer (Don) of Estherville, Iowa; his brother-in-law Karl Fliehler; and his former wife Christine Henricks. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
