He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias Hoversten and Martha Hoversten; and his siblings, Knut, Joseph, Emmanuel, Christine, Ellen, Clara, Clarence, Emma, Chester and Esther Marie.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Hoversten; his children, David Hoversten (Nancy) of Austin, MN, Michael Hoversten (Sandra) of Champlin, MN, Kevin Paul Hoversten (Nayer) of Austin, MN, Kim Lucin (Martin) of Jackson, MN, Amy Morck (Rolf) of Mondovi, WI and Jill Nafstad (Gregg) of Plymouth, MN; his siblings, Garfield Hoversten, Vincent Hoversten (Marge) and Bernice Digre; and his siblings-in-law, Janice and Carl Kingsley. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Our Savior's Lutheran Church or recipient of donor's choice.
