He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dalager and Serena Dalager (Braaten); his wife Laura Samuel; his granddaughter Lindsay Dalager; and his brothers, Joe, Arthur, Robert, Earl, James and Lloyd.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Dalager (Pam) of St. Louis Park, MN, Michael Dalager (Julie) of Shoreview, MN and Carol Prout (Timothy) of Boulder, CO; his grandchildren, Megan, Samantha, Stephanie, Nicholas and Ethan; his sister Hazel Johnson; and his close friend LaDonna Klapperick. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
