He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Sayles and Muriel Sayles; and his brother-in-law Michael Opland. He is survived by: his sons, Phil (Danni), Andy (Amanda) and Seth; his grandchildren, Jasper, Carson, Lydia and Nolan; and his sisters, Maryjane Doerge (Greg) and Diane Opland. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home (1801 4th St NW, Austin, MN 55912). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to BP Cancer Group or Rose Creek Enterprise Cemetery.
