With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kay Lena Barnhart of Austin, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 2, 2024 at the age of 60. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Swenson and Gladys Swenson (Nielsen); her siblings, Leland Swenson, Daryl Nielsen, Keith Swenson, Alan Swenson and Elaine Easter; and her great-niece Kiley Jones.

She is survived by: her siblings, Gary Swenson (Pat) of Rose Creek, Dean Swenson (Carmine) of Riceville, Wayne Swenson (Peggy) of Wykoff and Dale Swenson (Dawn) of LeRoy; and her siblings-in-law, Wayne Easter, Gwen Swenson and Alice Swenson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
