We are sad to announce that on March 6, 2022, at the age of 89, Joseph Mlinar of Austin, Minnesota, born in Spring Valley, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emily Yukel Mlinar and Joseph Mlinar; his brothers, Dale Mlinar and Keith Mlinar; his siblings-in-law, Richard Smith and Hjordis Mlinar; and his nephew Mark Mlinar.
He is survived by: his close friend Dr. Mlinar; his son Joe; his wife Joyce Dierdorff; his children, Christine Plantan (Dave Plantan), Joseph Mlinar and Lynn Baker; his grandchildren, Michelle Plantan (Clay Anthony), Stephen Plantan Lester (Mandy), Langston Mlinar, Madeline, Jonathan and Benjamin Baker; his sister Phyllis Smith (Mlinar); and his sister-in-law Jean Mlinar. He is also survived by 5 nieces, 2 nephews, and 3 great nieces and 6 great nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the Mayo Clinic Health System-Austin Foundation, or donor's choice.
