He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gedker and Thelma Gedker (Jarvis); his stepmother Lou; his son Daniel; his brother Jimmy; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Johnk and Gary Estrin.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Gedker of Austin, MN; his children, Lorrie Jo Ham (Charles) and Lisa Jill Gedker; his daughter-in-law Dawn Koskinen; his grandchildren, Rebecca Ham, Sarah Reinitz (Andrew), Kevin Ham, Andrew Gedker (Lynda), Joseph Gedker (Rachel) and Kirsten Koskinen; his great grandchildren, Annabelle Jo Reinitz, Emmeline Theresa Reinitz and Elijah Phillip Gedker; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Johnk, Lynda Schultz (Lowell) and Carol Estrin.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (204 1st Ave NW, Austin, MN 55912).
Memorials are preferred to the Riverland Foundation, First United Methodist Church, or recipient of donor's choice.
