He was predeceased by: his parents, Cole Belknap and Agnes Belknap; his wife Elizabeth Belknap; his daughter Margaret Handt; and his siblings, Ward Belknap (Esther Belknap), Kenyon Belknap (Betty Belknap) and Miriam Belknap.
He is survived by: his son Richard Belknap (Elizabeth); his son-in-law William Handt; his grandchildren, Heather Meyer (Jon) and Tyler Belknap (Trish Marin); and his great grandchildren, Kaiden and Nora Meyer.
