He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Beckel and Mary Beckel (Tambornino); his son Allan; and his siblings, Emmet, Robert, Paul and Margaret.
He is survived by: his wife Verneice Beckel of Austin, MN; his children, Donald Beckel (Ann Keefe) of The Colony, TX, Larry Beckel (Jean Brandes) of Fridley, MN and Karen Wagner (Bruce) of Stewartville, MN; his daughter-in-law Jean Berge of Arvada, CO; and his sisters, Frances Landwehr and Jacqueline Dulas. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
