In loving memory of Jerry Anthony Johnson of Austin, Minnesota, who departed this world on November 20, 2024 at the age of 86. Jerry leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. As we bid Jerry farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jerry is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his children, Tracy and Jeremy; and his sister Mary Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Murray; his daughter Brooke; his son-in-law Richard Fitts; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Poole, Mike and Debbie Murray. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary (209 2nd Ave NW, Austin, MN 55912).
Memorials are preferred to St. Olaf Lutheran Church, the Mower County Humane Society, or Howard County Community Hospice.
