He is survived by: his wife Joan Byam; his daughters, Jana Hayden-Sofio (Gary) and Beth Hayden (Drew Bremer); his granddaughters, Adelaide and Mea Hayden-Sofio; his siblings, Marlene Ryks (Elso), Larry Hayden and Janice McDowell (Patrick); and his brothers-in-law, Lowell Byam (Lorraine) and Perry Byam (Nancy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
